Cooperation with UkraineThe Tyumen region and Ukraine have strong enough trade and economic relations. Ukraine is included into number of the basic foreign trade partners of the Tyumen region.The foreign trade turnover of the Tyumen region with Ukraine in 2007 has made 16,9 million US dollar that makes 2 % from the cumulative foreign trade turnover of the Tyumen region, including: export of 15,7 million dollars, import 1, 2 million dollars. For 10 months 2008 the volume of foreign trade with Ukraine on a zone of activity of the Tyumen customs has made 35,75 million US dollars. In comparison with the similar period of 2007 considerable growth of trade with Ukraine in 3 times takes place. Thus export growth has made - 69 % (export volume - 17, 85 mln. dollars of the USA), import has increased in 18 times and has made in cost expression 17, 9 mln. dollars of the USA. Engines, electric equipment, accumulators, spare parts to motor transport and a number of other goods are exported to Ukraine first of all. The industrial equipment of different function and spare parts, metal rolling of various assortment, and also cars, trucks and tractors etc. are delivered from Ukraine to the Tyumen region. The enterprises of an oil and gas and petrochemical complex deliver their production to Ukraine first of all, such as Open Society «Gazprom», Open Society «TNK-bp», Open Company «LUKOIL-Western Siberia», Open Society «Tobolsk petrochemical industrial complex». Except them production of Open Society «Tyumen motorostroiteli », Open Society «The Tyumen factory of the medical equipment and tools», Open Society «Tyumen storage factory», joint venture Joint-Stock Company «Factory of welding electrodes«SIBES», Open Society PII «Gazturboservis» is exported to Ukraine. According to Management of Federal tax service of the Tyumen region (as of May, 2008) in region territory 35 enterprises with the Ukrainian investments are registered. Among the most successful joint projects it is necessary to name created in November, 1996 in Tyumen the enterprise with foreign investments of Open Society «Gazturboservis» shareholders of it are Open Company «Surgutgazprom» and PA «Zarya» (Nikolaev, Ukraine). The basic volume of orders the given enterprise carries out for Open Society «Gazprom», repairing of gas-turbine the pumping over units of ship type used on the main pipelines, and making spare parts to them. Production is delivered to almost all gas-transport and gas-extraction enterprises of Russia: «Tyumentransgaz», «Severgazprom», «Yamburggazdobycha», «Permtransgaz», «Volgotransgaz», «Bashtransgaz» and another. Besides, Open Society «Gazturboservis» for a long time successfully co-operates with such enterprises of machine-building complex of Ukraine as a, SIE «Mashproekt»and Open Society «Krivorozhsky turbine factory «Konstar». According to Federal Agency of the state statistics of the Tyumen region from January till September, 2008 in economy of area the arrived volume of investments has made 948,4 thousand dollars from Ukraine; the investments enclosed by the enterprises and the organisations of the Tyumen region into Ukraine from January till September of last 2007 have made 2 288,9 thousand dollars. In the Tyumen region according to population census of 2002 lives more than 22 thousand Ukrainians (1,66 % from an aggregate number of the population of area). It is one of the most numerous national diasporas of area. Activity of the Ukrainian national-cultural organisations is carried out with organizational, methodical, financial support of the Government of the Tyumen region. Annually for realisation of socially significant projects of the Tyumen Ukrainians, Days of the Ukrainian culture, scientifically-practical conferences, round tables it is allocated about 600,0 thousand roubles from the regional budget. With a view of preservation and development of the Ukrainian culture and the Ukrainian language, strengthening of international communications in area territory the public organisation of Ukrainians of the Tyumen region «Batkivshchina» and its branches carries out the activity in cities and area villages: Tyumen, Tobolsk, Zavodoukovsk, Ishim, Yalutorovsk, Aromashevo, Sorokino, Vagay. At the House of national cultures «Stroitel» the Department of the Ukrainian culture which is the methodical centre on development of cultural-mass work in the Ukrainian ethnic environment in area municipal unions creatively works. In territory of the Tyumen region are created and creatively develop about 30 amateur art collectives. On November, 14th this year (in the fourth time!) the International scientifically-practical conference within the limits of Days of the Ukrainian culture in the Tyumen region has been spent. The exhibition of hologram’s «Gold treasury of Ukraine» has been dated for this action, passing from November, 10 till November, 16th in the Museum of the fine arts of Tyumen. At the Tyumen state university with support of the government of region since 1996 teaching of the Ukrainian language within the limits of discipline «Modern slavic language» is conducted, and since 1998 specialisation of «The Ukrainian language and the literature» is entered. Since 2000 the newspaper in the Ukrainian language «The Voice of Ukraine in Western Siberia» is published, one of which founders is the Government of Tyumen region. In the end of November, 2008 XIX release of the almanac of «National cultures of region» in number of 500 copies, devoted to a life and activity of the Tyumen Ukrainians was published. In summer of 2008 with financial support of the Government of the Tyumen region lets out an album of the Ukrainian artist of Bobonich Dmitry Mihaylovich living in our region. Schoolgirl Maria Tyrpak, the schoolgirl of 70th school of Tyumen, is the winner of the All-Russia competition of readers of poetry and prose Т.G. Shevchenko (Moscow). On December, 13th, 2008 Ukrainian family of Skripnik Ivan Ivanovich from village Novopokrovka of Nizhnetavdinsky area will take part in regional national festival «In a family a dyne amicable», the devoted Year of a family in the Tyumen region, in a nomination «With sports to be on friendly terms - creatively to live!». Priority a cooperation direction It is necessary to allocate the basic directions of cooperation which can be mutually advantageous for us. It: - Assistance to creation of joint ventures in machine-building, light, woodworking, food and process industry. The potential commodity market of production is great enough at the expense of possibility of deliveries of production not only on the north of the Tyumen region, but also to the CIS countries. - Assistance to the enterprises of the Tyumen region in participation in the tenders spent in Ukraine, informing on available requirements of the Ukrainian enterprises in material resources for development of cooperation communications; - Assistance rendering on a mutual basis to managing subjects of the Tyumen region and Ukraine for the organisation and participation in spent exhibition actions, conferences, seminars, presentations, business meetings and so forth; - Taking into account presence of a great number of ethnic Ukrainians as a part of the population of area support of activity of the Ukrainian diasporas and development of cultural cooperation remain the important directions of teamwork of the Government of the Tyumen region and General consulate of Ukraine in Tyumen. Work forms in the given direction the diversified: forums of natives of Ukraine, living in the Tyumen region, the joint scientifically-practical conferences devoted to uniform historical, cultural and language roots of our people, an exchange of creative collectives, exhibitions of museum pieces, support of work of collectives of amateur performances and other similar actions. There are also big possibilities for expansion of sphere of tourism and rest, in particular, sanatorium and rehabilitation treatment for children and adult population in specialised health resorts of Ukraine. On December, 09th, 2008 the Governor of the Tyumen region Vladimir Vladimirovich Yakushev has met with again appointed Consul general of Ukraine in Tyumen Michael Kolyadin. During a meeting Yakushev and Kolyadin have discussed directions of cooperation of the Tyumen region with Ukraine, both in economy sphere, and in humanitarian sphere. Also interlocutors have planned new initiatives of cooperation. |
NewsOn Friday November 15, 2011 a cooperation agreement between the Tyumen region Government and Association of light industry enterprises was signed by the Deputy Governor Vladimir Mazur and the Association President Dmitry Petrovsky, reported the Department on investment policy and state support of entrepreneurship.
