With a view of consideration and studying of investment offers and projects, and also the subsequent coordination of activity of executive powers of the government of the Tyumen region connected with rendering of complex assistance and support of realisation of investment projects, and development of recommendations to local governments on carrying out of a uniform investment policy Council about economic development of the Tyumen region is created at the Governor of the region.
The Council competence concerns:

• Consideration of investment offers and the projects offered to realisation in the Tyumen region;
• Rendering of complex assistance of realisation of investment offers and projects, and also coordination of activity and interaction of executive powers of the government in sphere of rendering of the state support of realisation of investment projects;
• Development of recommendations to the initiator of the investment project on reception of the state support;
• Assistance in creation of additional possibilities and the conditions promoting growth of investment activity;
• Preparation of commissions under the accepted decisions of Council, projects of decisions and orders of the Governor of the region, the area Government, and also the control over their execution;
• Consideration of offers of federal enforcement authorities and executive powers of the government of other subjects of the Russian Federation, local governments about joint realisation of investment projects;
• Consideration and the statement of the documents developed within the limits of regional target programs and connected with realisation of investment activity in territory of the Tyumen region;
• Consideration of the questions at issue arising during its activity within the limits of the competence of Council;
• Entering of offers into projects of standard legal certificates concerning realisation of an investment policy in the Tyumen region.
