On a basis «Strategies of development of the Tyumen region till 2020» which in 2005 has developed – the Federal state unitary enterprise «Russian research and project institute of urbanistics» (St.-Petersburg), the problem - a diversification of structure of economy and formation klasters of developments has been formulated.
For carrying out of the independent analysis of branches of economy about creation klasters of development and as a whole investment development the large Russian and international consulting companies which within 2006-2008 by request of Department of an investment policy and the state support of business of the Tyumen region have developed following strategic documents have been involved:

Strategy of investment development of transport and logistics of the Tyumen region
(Presentations have passed in Duisburg, Moscow, Developers – Joint-Stock Company «ROST» (Tyumen) and «Тhe Trance of Ker» (Germany)).
Strategy contains the analysis of an existing transport infrastructure of region, the analysis of system of goods traffics, foreign trade activities of subjects of economy of region. Investment civil-engineering designs of the logistical centres in the largest cities of area, projects of development of carriages by water, airport « Roshchino», intraregional international transportations by motor transport are presented.

Strategy of investment development of light industry of the Tyumen region
(Presentations have passed in Nuremberg and Moscow. The developer – the international consulting firm «Ryodl Consulting АG»).
Within the limits of Strategy the condition tanning, shoe, sewing (house textiles, furs, clothes), textile (manufacture of woollen fabrics and a yarn), and also carpet branches is analysed, investment plans for development of the largest enterprises of light industry are developed, and also are offered investment projects.

Strategy of investment development of a machine-building complex of the Tyumen region till 2020
(Presentations have passed in Hanover, Moscow, Tselle, the Developer – Joint-Stock Company «Consulting Company «Prefish»)
As the primary goals of a writing of Strategy acted: research of an existing condition of a machine-building complex of the south of the Tyumen region in a cut of subindustries and the separate enterprises, the SWOT-analysis of branch; definition and ranging of perspective internal and foreign commodity markets of production of machine-building branch of the south of the Tyumen region; definition of necessary and sufficient actions on modernisation of the enterprises of mechanical engineering of the south of the Tyumen region, activization of an innovative orientation of their activity.

Strategy of investment development of the food-processing industry, agriculture and fishery in the Tyumen region till 2020
(Presentations have passed in Berlin and Moscow, Developers – Rastam the Estimation (Tyumen) and IAK Agrar Consulting (Germany, Leipzig)).
The document purpose - increase of competitiveness of the enterprises of the food-processing, industry of agriculture and fishery in the Tyumen region, realisation of new investment projects.

Strategy of development of a building complex of the Tyumen region till 2020
(Presentations have passed in Berlin, Moscow, Developers – ROST (Tyumen) and «IPB.B» (Germany)).
Within the limits of Strategy the analysis of a building complex of the Tyumen region (building, the industry of building materials, services in building) is carried out; 14 investment projects on the organisation of manufactures of building materials in territory of the south of the Tyumen region are developed.

Strategy of investment development of a wood complex till 2020
(presentations have passed in Astana, Petropavlovsk and in St.-Petersburg. The developer – the Finnish consulting company «Jako Puri»).
Within the limits of work on Strategy preparation the analysis of wood resources of the Tyumen region is carried out; potential commodity markets of production of a wood complex are investigated; investment projects of the enterprises for deep processing of wood are made.
