An expanded meeting of currency control in the Ural Federal District occured in Tyumen. It has placed in the Great Hall of the Government of Tyumen region at the 11th of June.
There were discussed the issues of the development of foreign trade in Tyumen region, and changes in currency legislation of the Russian Federation in 2011–2013, and jurisprudence in currency legislation of the Russian Federation in 2012–2013. Also were touched possible risks in foreign trade from the point of economic and legal aspects, and problems of foreign economic activities because of the entry of Russia into the WTO.

On May 24, during a visit to Tyumen representatives of the Committee on the Export Development Russian Public organization "Business Russia" visited Tyumen Plywood Plant - one of the largest exporters of the Tyumen region.
One of the recipients of tax credits in 2012 was a branch of LLC "UMMC-Steel" in the city of Tyumen. Company is implementing on the territory of Tyumen investment project "Metallurgical Plant for the production of long steel capacity of 545.5 million tons," which addresses the issues of self-sufficiency in the Tyumen region in rolled metal, necessary for the development of construction industry in the region.

Business delegation from the Tyumen region is preparing for a trip to Germany.
